Was Dutton's Soft Campaign Launch Too Soft?
2025 is here, and so is election season in Australia! 🎉 Brace yourselves for months of political campaigning as Albo, Dutton, and the rest of the crew make their pitches. In this video, I break down Dutton's "Let's Get Australia Back on Track" campaign launch (or LGABOT, which sounds oddly familiar to another acronym). From scattered priorities to a lack of detail, there's a lot to unpack—and not much to inspire.
We'll also discuss the challenges for minor parties and independents, the importance of using your preferences wisely, and why slogans actually matter. Plus, some honest thoughts about the state of leadership and policies from both major parties. 🗳️
Check out the links in the show notes for more, including how preferences work and where to grab some merch. Let me know your thoughts in the comments—let's talk democracy!
